Hand-painted Aluminia  zodiac plate showing CAPRICORN, Stenbukken in Danish. This is one of Aluminia's series of Zodiac plates designed by Harald Sloth-Moller in 1903. Harald Sloth-Møller was employed at Aluminia as a leading artist from 1902-1906.
Diameter: 9½ inches (24 cm) 
Excellent vintage condition, crazing consistent with age. The plate is probably a factory second due to a spot without glaze on the backside.
Signature: 121/151 (decoration number /shape number). "N" (painter). This hand-painted plate all date from 1903. The painter and designer Harald Slot-Møller (1864-1937) designed the form and the decoration for both form and decoration.
