Silk embroidery picture by Elin Bratt Corlin (1909-2006), Nyköping, Sweden. Eline Corlin was educated at the Art and Craft School in Göteborg and already in the 1930's she became known for her woven rugs represented at the larger art and craft exhibitions in Stockholm As she grew older, she used her artistic ability and imagination in small silk embroideries often inspired by poems. In this case it is 'The princess' by Björnstjerne Björsson.
