A quintessential piece of Italian Mid-Century design. This table lamp base was created by Aldo Londi during his tenure as artistic director for Bitossi Ceramiche.13 The piece showcases the renowned Rimini Blue glaze—a stunning turquoise and cobalt mix—enhanced by hundreds of meticulously hand-incised geometric marks, a technique known as sgraffito.
 
The base is marked with the production code M4/25 and Italy.15
