Helmut Friedrich Schäffenacker (1921 - 2010). Helmut Friedrich Schäffenacker was trained as a sculptor, and in the 1950s he established his own workshop " Atelier Schäffennacker " , where he began a ceramic production. He is best known for his wall hangings, which were sold all over Germany and neighboring countries. His works reflected the ‘zeitgeist’ in the period 1950 to 1980. He developed an abstract stylized style that characterized his productionn. Works from his studio are either unique or produced in very small quantities - no more than 100 copies.
