A striking example of the high-quality geometric glass produced by the Mandruzzato family, whose legacy began with Luigi Mandruzzato in 1956.9 This monumental art glass vessel embodies the sculptural quality of 20th-century Murano glass.
Crafted using the Sommerso technique, a core of saturated blue glass is encapsulated by layers of thick, transparent crystal. The form is then cold-worked—hand-etched and deeply faceted—to create a prism-like surface that magnifies and distorts the internal color, achieving a luminous, three-dimensional effect.
The combination of the 10.5-inch height, the etched signature, and the vibrant blue color makes this a premium piece for collectors of Italian design.
