Rare bottle opener designed by Gerd Bogelund (1923-1987) for Royal Copenhagen, Denmark. The stoneware part is decorated with incised pattern in red brown and ochre glazing, The piece was produced in May 1968. Signed: GB 22311 three waves. Excellent condition. Total height: 4.3 inches (11 cm).

Bogelund worked for Royal Copenhagen until 1942, and she returned in 1946 working as an artist-in-residence. .
