Art Deco unique sculpture desginet by Jens Jacob Bregnøe (1877-1947) for Saxbo in the mid-1930s. According to the Vejen Art Museum in DK, this is probably a unique production called the "nicotine devil" or "nicotine troll". This ashtray was obviously made a little later, and was probably exhibited with three other "troll" versions in 1943 in the art shop of August With's successor. Nathalie Krebs is responsible for the glaze.
