The History
Just Andersen (1884–1943) was a global force in decorative arts, with dedicated shops in Berlin, London, New York, and Los Angeles. This piece represents the peak of his international success in the 1930s, showcasing the "Disko" alloy—a secret mixture of lead and antimony he invented to capture the somber, heavy elegance of ancient bronze.
