This is an exceptional example of Danish modernist ceramics by Per Linnemann-Schmidt for his studio, Palshus. A beautiful and functional piece, this chamotte jam pot showcases the elegant and understated design that made Palshus so renowned.
The vessel’s earthy form, created with grogged or 'chamotte' clay, is perfectly complemented by a rich brown and gray glossy glaze. This piece is a testament to the partnership between Per and his wife, Annelise Linnemann-Schmidt, and the high-quality stoneware they produced between 1949 and 1972.
