Rare bowl from the celebrated RITZ series, designed by Mari Simmulson for the Swedish ceramics studio Upsala-Ekeby. As the leading artist for the studio from 1942-1972, Simmulson was a pivotal figure in Swedish design.This piece is a fantastic example of her work and a true collector's item, as the series was only in production from 1956 to 1957. It represents a significant moment in the history of mid-century Swedish pottery.
