The series was creatively directed by Nils Thorsson and featured designs exclusively from a talented group of young female artists. Design and Provenance
Crafted from faience (tin-glazed earthenware), the bowl features a vibrant, hand-painted design—a hallmark of the Tenera line. The production date is marked between 1969 and 1974. It serves as a beautiful accent piece, perfectly capturing the spirit of Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern design.
Authentication
The bowl is a Factory First and is in excellent vintage condition. The base is correctly marked with the Royal Copenhagen backstamp, the pattern number 151/2196, and the initials of the designer, Marianne Johnson.
