Danish Ceramist Mette Doller (1925- was educated at the School of Arts and Crafts in Copenhagen and at the potter Gutte Eriksen`s Academy of Fine Arts 1940-45, She have had own workshops in Copenhagen, Bornholm, and Ærø, and worked for a short period (1953-55) for the ceramics company Andersson & Johansson in Höganäs, Sweden. Mette Doller was the first employee with an artistic background. Her production for A&J, such as this dish, made her known internationally
