Dating from the 1960s, this piece masterfully employs the Sommerso technique, resulting in a rich, sculptural effect. A vibrant core of deep sapphire blue glass is entirely encased within a flawless, thick layer of clear crystal. The substantial size and weight—3.1 kilograms—emphasize the premium quality of Kosta's production during this era.
The vase is signed Kosta SH5186 on the base and retains its original manufacturer's label, confirming its authenticity and provenance.
