Mid Century lamp base designed by Nils Kahler for Herman Kahler, Denmark. The table lamp is partly glazed in brown glaze with herringbone pattern.
Excellent  vintage condition.

Nils Kahler was originally trained as a potter. 
In 1940 Nils Kahler (1906-1979) and his brother
Herman Jørgen Kahler took over the Kahler company.
Nils became the artistic director, and had  his own studio at the  Kahler factory.
