Orrefors Atelje Engberg Icicle Pendant
The Iconic "Istappen" (Icicle) Pendant
Experience the "magic of Swedish light" with this mid-century masterpiece. Designed in the 1960s by Ateljé Engberg, these pendants feature heavy, hand-cast textured glass produced by the world-renowned Orrefors glassworks.
The "Hidden Glow" Design
This is a sophisticated piece of optical engineering. When unlit, the glass has the realistic, clear appearance of melting ice. However, the fixture features a hidden color filter at the neck. When illuminated with a clear bulb, the light is projected through the filter and carried down the ripples of the glass, causing the entire icicle to "ignite" with a vibrant, saturated [Insert Color: Ruby Red / Emerald Green / Amber Orange / Warm Yellow] glow.

Global Usage & Wiring Guide
This lamp is currently wired with its original European 2-pin plug. It is fully compatible with North American (110-120V) systems:
Plug: Use a simple "EU to US" travel adapter or easily replace the plug at any hardware store.
Socket: Use an "E14 to E12" reducer ($2) to use standard US candelabra bulbs.
Bulb: We strictly recommend a Clear LED bulb (Warm White). LEDs generate no heat, protecting the vintage color filter and keeping the glass crystal clear for decades to come.
