Heavy neoclassic bronze vase with figural scenery in relief attributed to L. Rasmussen, Denmark.
Lauritz Godtfred Rasmussen (1825-1893) was a Danish sculptor and caster.  In 1839 he joined foundry H. Dalhof.
In 1853  he founded a casting company, where he received a number of prestigious contracts: for instance  the sculptures in front of the Royal Theater in Copenhagen.
Excellent condition.
