Terracotta sculpture 'Princess and the Pea' designed by Kai Nielsen (painter and sculptor 1882-1925) for Kahler, Denmark. 
Kai Nielsen's small sculptures were sold in the U.S. by trading company Zacho & Co.. But this particular figure, the princess and the pea was required removed from the store. Women's organizations believed it was immoral. The figurine was, however, subsequently sold in large numbers to the Americans at the Copenhagen Airport.
