Art Deco Stoneware Bowl by Nils Thorsson for Aluminia, Denmark (1927-1932)
Octagonal Nils Thorsson Art Deco bowl designed by  Nils Thorsson for the prestigious Aluminia factory, this piece was produced during the short-lived period of 1927 to 1932. The ceramic body is known in Danish as  Matt Porcelain, a dense, high-fired stoneware that perfectly captures the geometric precision and elegant matte glaze of the Art Deco era.
The bowl features a unique, stylized pineapple decoration. Its striking eight-sided form makes it an outstanding example of Danish design and early Thorsson work.
