Mid-century studio pottery vase from the personal workshop of the highly celebrated ceramic artist, Ursula Printz Mogensen (1920-1993).

After a distinguished career as the Director of the painting department at Gustavsberg (under Wilhelm Kåge) and a designer at Royal Copenhagen, Ursula opened her own studio in Denmark in 1954 with her husband, Jørgen Mogensen. Pieces from this 13-year period (1954-1967) represent her most personal and expressive work.

The vase features a warm brown glaze with bold, abstract decoration on an orange background .
