Vicke Lindstrand Kosta LH 1358 Blue Vase. Rare Opal "Sommerso" Vase 
A masterful example of Swedish Mid-Century Modernism, this LH 1358 vase by Vicke Lindstrand showcases the weight and clarity that defined Kosta Glasbruk in the 1950s. The vase features a "classical heavy form" with a thick, sculptural clear crystal body encasing a luminous core of light blue opal glass.
 
Designed circa 1958, this piece is part of the celebrated Colora range. The Sommerso technique allows the blue interior to appear floating, caught within the deep walls of the hand-formed crystal. It is a substantial, tactile object that captures the essence of Nordic light.
