Art deco bronze vase with silver inlay in swirl pattern probably designed by Paul Haustein for W.M.F. Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik in the 1930's (Bauhaus Era) The designs of Paul Haustein were notable for their decorations and the variety of technique employed in making them. During the 1927's W.M.F created a special division "Neuen Kunstgewerblichen Abteilung (NKA) which would create decorative objects strongly influenced by art nouveau and art deco designs. Height: 10 inches (26 cm); diameter: 5 inches (13 cm). WMF tower mark on base Excellent vintage condition no dents.
